Our developers work strictly in a no-office model and therefore, are not able to join your team at the office. Moreover, working remotely has become a standard in the IT industry.

Our remote developers use tools such as Slack, Google Meets, Zoom, Loom, etc. to make working online easy. We encourage taking full advantage of electronic communication, video chats etc. To make your cooperation easier and smooth sailing.

Generally speaking, staff augmentation refers to bringing in one or more IT developers to work on your project. These developers are meant to be an extension of your team. Your internal team should already consist of Project Managers, Scrum masters, QA testers, other developers etc.

In contrast, outsourcing in the IT sector usually refers to hiring an entire company to perform all the work. Outsourcing refers to using a third-party contractor or supplier to perform a job that would normally be done by an in-house employee.

Here at Swyply we love long term projects and so do our developers. However, our minimum cooperation is 3 months.

We can provide you with developers to extend your team in a flash. We can provide you with Blind CVs of potential candidates within 2 or 3 business days. On the third or fourth day, you can be interviewing them and by the end of the week, they may be joining your team. It’s that fast and that easy.

We can have a developer ready to go and join your team within one week. However, in some scenarios it may take up to 30 days, but these are extreme circumstances where our developers need to finish up previous projects.

We can provide you with as many or as little developers as you need. You can have vetted developers from our in-house team along with pre-approved developers from our partnering Software houses.

The rate to hire one of our developers on augmented staffing basis varies on the type of expert and seniority level. Our hourly rates range from $15 to $60 per hour. So for example, $15 per hour is for a developer that is at the junior level, whereas, $60 per hour would get you a developer who has high seniority. This would be a developer that specializes in a technology that is in high demand on the market. Moreover, this would be someone that could do more than just code your project, they would be a Tech Leader, meaning they could help with organising or managing tasks.

At the beginning of our cooperation, we establish a daily rate for your chosen developer or development team. At the end of each month, we add up the number of days that a developer spends working on your project. Based on these calculations, we send an invoice out at the end of the month.

No, our developer is available exclusively to you and your project for the length agreed upon in our contract. They work for you just like any other full time employee would, without additional jobs. Furthermore, all employee costs are covered by us, this includes vacation pay, infrastructure etc.

Each candidate that wants to join Swyply goes through a full recruitment process. We ensure that any potential developer is vetted on soft skills, because being able to communicate, explain or take feedback positively is crucial when working on any project. Furthermore, we check their hard or technical skills by running them through a live coding scenario or giving them a take home assignment. We ensure that the developers we hire have a minimum of 2 years in a given technology. We usually hire IT specialists that a have senior MID+ or higher. Lastly, we check their language skills by carrying out the interview in English. We require that our developers have a minimum B2 English level to be able to comfortably communicate and express themselves while working for our customers.

When we provide you with developers from our partnering Software houses, they are trusted individuals. Furthermore, we have cooperated with these Software houses for many years, therefore, any developer from them is also of the same high quality.

Generally, we do not provide developers on a part-time basis. We find it’s best to hire out developers on a full time basis. However, if you find that you need ongoing developer support month after month for 20 hours per month, we can do our best to help you.

No, you do not need to provide Swyply developers with computers, employment costs, etc. In terms of software, we do provide our developers with certain programs but others that are specific to your company, you need to provide that.

Afterwards, we will search for your developer in our in-house team and at our partnering Software houses. Then we will send you a number of Blind CVs for you to pick your top candidates. Once, you have made your choice, we will schedule interviews. You can also request skill tests during this time. Once you have picked which developer(s), you want we draw up a contract. Our developer joins your team. Each month, we check in to see how things are going and if you need any additional support. Lastly, a month before the end of your project, we reach out to see if the project is ending or whether you would like to extend your contract.

We provide two-week trial periods on our remote staff augmentation services, so you can choose from a range of remote developers or an entire remote development team. If one of our IT specialists is not the right fit for you, you have two options. Firstly, we can look for another developer, if the first one is not working out, and replace him or her. Alternatively, we can finish our cooperation, and we will not charge you for that two-week period.
